The goal for milk production in Russia in 2021 is 20 million tons

‘The gross harvest of grain and leguminous crops in agricultural organizations, peasant farm holdings, including individual entrepreneurs in the Russian Federation is 118.648 million tons,’ the document says.

According to the state program, the goal for the gross grain harvest in these categories of farms in 2022 is set at 122,903 million tons, in 2023 - 125,916 million tons. This indicator does not take into account the collection of grain in the households of the population. According to Rosstat, the grain harvest in Russia in 2020 in farms of all categories amounted to 133.465 million tons, and in households - 858.3 thousand tons (0.6% of the total volume). In 2019, the gross harvest amounted to 121.2 million tons and 910 thousand tons, respectively (0.8% of the total harvest of that year).

The document also states that the goal for the gross harvest of potatoes in these two categories of farms for 2021 is 7.151 million tons, for 2022 - 7.251 million tons, for 2023 - 7.359 million tons. Production of field vegetables is expected to be 5.326 million tons in 2021, 5.445 million tons in 2022 and 5.575 million tons in 2023; oilseeds (excluding rapeseed and soybeans) - 12.744 million tons in 2021, 13.479 million tons in 2022 and 14.291 million tons in 2023.

The goal for milk production in 2021 is to produce 20.124 million tons, 20.245 million tons in 2022, and 20.503 million tons in 2023. This is stated in the government resolution "On amendments to the State Program for the Development of Agriculture and regulation of markets for agricultural products, raw materials and food".
