The construction of 10 new dairy complexes in Tatarstan will increase milk production by 3% annually
Earlier, we reported that in the agricultural production cooperative of the agricultural firm Rassvet of Kukmor district, the first building of a new megafarm for 1,500 milking cows was launched. The total investment in the project amounted to 930 million rubles.
The Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan also reports that at the moment the region is working on the modernization and construction of dairy farms and complexes and equipping them with high-tech equipment. 16 dairy complexes for 6,400 milking cows were put into operation, which allowed to increase milk production by 40 thousand tons per year.
- In the next 2 years, the implementation of 23 investment projects for 24 thousand cows will continue. It is also planned to build 10 more new dairy complexes for 9,700 cows, which will increase milk production by about 3% annually, the ministry said.
