Within the framework of the Federal project "Export of agricultural products", the Ministry of agriculture of Russia conducts systematic work aimed at improving the competitiveness of Russian agricultural producers in foreign markets. Currently, a set of state support measures is being implemented for export-oriented enterprises. Thus, they have the right to receive preferential short-term and investment loans, compensation for part of the costs of product certification for deliveries to foreign markets, as well as for transportation.

In addition, new support mechanisms are being worked out within the framework of the Federal project. So, starting since 2021, part of the direct costs incurred for the creation and (or) modernization of agricultural processing facilities will be reimbursed in accordance with the decree of the Government of the Russian Federation No. 137 of February 12, 2020. In addition, since the beginning of next year, it is planned to introduce a new measure of state support in the form of compensation for lease payments when purchasing equipment for manufacturers of export-oriented agricultural products.
