Citizens engaged in the development of personal subsidiary farms and registered as self-employed will have access to state support. Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Mikhail Mishustin signed the corresponding decree.
It is clarified that the document amends the state program for the development of agriculture and regulation of agricultural products, raw materials and food markets, which is supplemented by a separate priority sub-sector - development of personal subsidiary farms. Self-employed owners of personal subsidiary farms applying the TPI regime (tax on professional income) will be able to receive subsidies from the state since 2022.
‘The decision taken will support the self-employed who develop personal subsidiary farms, will contribute to increasing the production of vegetables, milk and meat, which means that the Russian market will be saturated with domestic products,’ the Cabinet of Ministers said.
