Russia exported agricultural products worth almost $29 billion in 2020
In particular, grain was delivered for $9.785 billion compared to $7.719 billion a year earlier (an increase of 27%), fat and oil products - for $4.637 billion compared to $3.886 billion (an increase of 19%), meat and dairy products – for $1.134 billion compared to $835 million (an increase of 36%), food and processed products - for $4.128 billion compared to $3.639 billion (an increase of 13%).
At the same time, the export value of fish and seafood decreased by 3%, to $5.202 billion compared to $5.356 billion last year.
China remains the leader among the countries-buyers of Russian agricultural products, its imports amounted to $3.984 billion compared to $3.176 billion a year earlier (an increase of 25%). The supply of fish and seafood to the Chinese market amounted to $1.617 billion.
The EU, where products were exported for $3.276 billion compared to $2.91 billion a year earlier (an increase of 13%), is in the second place. Fish and seafood also formed the basis of supplies - for $1.118 billion. Turkey closes the top three, where agricultural products were delivered for $3.085 billion compared to $2.468 billion (an increase of 25%). Grain was the main delivery to the Turkish market – for $1.892 billion.
