The management of Revdinsky dairy plant decided to close on January 1, 2022. The information about this was confirmed to the EAN in the regional Ministry of agro-industrial complex. The department assured that the closure of the enterprise would not affect the supply of products to stores.

‘The plant is private, the owners have decided to close it. The enterprise is small in terms of production volume, it has not concluded state contracts for the supply of dairy products to social institutions for 2022. There is no shortage of dairy products on store shelves, since only in Sverdlovsk region there are more than 50 producers who will ensure the supply of products in the volume and assortment necessary for buyers,’ the ministry explained.

According to the director of the dairy plant Andrey Bocharov, the team will be reduced by agreement of the parties.

An EAN source in the dairy industry explained that the company had a small market share.

‘The competition is keen, so no one will even notice its closure,’ said the interlocutor of our publication.

The closure of Revdinsky dairy plant was preceded by a series of scandals. At the beginning of this year, the prosecutor's office conducted an audit after information about the forced dismissal of employees appeared. Then, as part of the optimization of the staff, it was planned to reduce 15 people. Four of them refused to leave work. After that, according to them, unbearable working conditions were created for them.
