Prosecutor Seizes Products from Spektr, Kimovskmolprod, and Intermilk Due to Mold
The Tula Prosecutor's Office conducted an inspection of companies producing dairy products. The laboratory results showed that samples from Spektr and Intermilk did not meet the microbiological standards set by the food safety technical regulations.
Yeast and mold were detected in the samples. The agency reported a breach of mandatory standards applied to dairy products. The investigation also involved Kimovskmolprod.
The distribution of the unsafe products has been halted. The batch that failed to meet the standards is set to be destroyed. Representations were made to the managers of the companies, who then organized steps to address the identified violations.
Following the prosecutor's decree, officials from Spektr, Kimovskmolprod, and Intermilk were held administratively responsible for violating the technical regulations. The total fines amounted to 50,000 rubles.
There was also a report on a previous inspection of Intermilk conducted by Rosselkhoznadzor and the Environmental Prosecutor's Office, which resulted in the exclusion of the Tula enterprise from the VetIS system.
During that inspection, critical control points and monitoring procedures had not been set out at the company. Additionally, protocol for staff action in case of deviations had not been established.
