General Director of Ufa city dairy plant Ildar Fayzullin believes that the cost of raw milk in the Republic of Bashkortostan, as well as throughout of Russia, will increase, writes The DairyNews.
The expert said that, according to Bashstat, the price of raw milk in Bashkortostan, in November 2020 compared to December 2019 increased by 3.9%. According to Ildar Fayzullin, taking into account the fact that the trend of price growth is going on throughout Russia, the increase in the cost of raw milk in the Republic of Bashkortostan will also continue. This, in his opinion, will necessarily affect the growth of prices of finished products, since the share of raw milk in the cost price reaches 80%.
Ildar Fayzullin noted that milk processors rarely change prices: once or twice a year. At the same time, their growth is usually low: on average, it corresponds to changes in prices for raw milk and the level of inflation.
