Piskarevsky dairy plant sharply raised prices for its products
The increase in prices for dairy products, which were produced at the dairy plant in St. Petersburg, coincided with a new stage in the introduction of labeling. Since December 1, all milk producers have been obliged to make it so that it can later be tracked in the Honest mark system. When news was just published about the introduction of the system providing dairy products with special codes, manufacturers said that they would have to raise prices for them. Now dairy products are becoming more expensive not only because of this.
So, the products produced at the St. Petersburg dairy plant have risen sharply in price. Retailers received a message that since November 26, the price of the entire product line will rise by 4-10%. The company is the last bulwark of inflation containment in the dairy segment. Before that, prices were adjusted a year ago – in October 2020.
Dairy products are getting more expensive due to a number of reasons. For example, manufacturers are increasing the costs of feed, packaging, veterinary drugs; electricity tariffs are increasing.
