PepsiCo is expanding its range of modern dairy products: Lianozovsky dairy plant has launched new equipment for the production of yogurt with fillings, as well as a line of "Chudo" products with caramel, reported in the company to The DairyNews.

As part of the project, a new packaging line with a capacity of 12,000 packages per hour was installed at the plant. It will produce yogurt "Chudo" and BioMax ® with sweet fillings in a two-section cup of 105 g. The new equipment is designed specifically for the requirements of the company. Its design allows producing products in such a way that they combine different shapes, consistency and density of crunchy fillings, so that each cup keeps this ratio unchanged. The combination of different textures of crunchy fillings with yogurt creates a new organoleptic sensation.

The company's assortment has also been replenished with new products under the "Chudo" brand: Lianozovsky dairy plant has started production of a new line of the brand, which includes whipped cottage cheese and yoghurts with natural caramel. In order to comply with the necessary requirements for the production of products with nuts, the plant installed a separate washing station for filling machines.

Investments in both projects amounted to more than 500 million rubles.

‘The development of the range of dairy products is a response to the constantly changing needs of our consumers. We know that people want to try new products, and we try to meet their expectations, carefully study consumer trends and invest in product innovations. It is not surprising that Lianozovsky dairy plant becomes a pioneer in the launch of new products. This is not only a large, modern plant with a long history, but also part of the industrial complex of Moscow, which unites socially important and efficient enterprises in Moscow region,’ commented David Manzini, President of PepsiCo Russia, Belarus, the Caucasus and Central Asia.

Lianozovsky dairy plant is the largest food production enterprise in Eastern Europe. The plant is equipped with 40 production lines, which produce about 140 assortment items. Every day, fifty milk trucks deliver about 1,100 tons of raw milk from farms in Moscow region and nearby regions.

It’s worth reminding that according to the Dairy Intelligence Agency (DIA), PepsiCo is the largest milk processor in the Russian Federation with a market share of more than 6.6%.
