Over the New Year holidays, butter has risen in price by 0.77%. The cost of pasteurized milk increased by 0.4%, UHT milk – by 0.57%, sour cream – by 0.48%, cottage cheese – by 0.24%, cheeses - by 0.28%, powdered infant formula - by 0.05%, reported in the press service of Rosstat to The DairyNews.

In general, from January 1 to January 10, 2022, the consumer price index, according to Rosstat, amounted to 100.56% (for comparison, in January 2021: in general, in January – 100.67%, from January 1 to January 11 - 100.40%).

Also during the reporting period, prices increased: for pasta – by 1.0%, margarine, wheat flour – by 0.6%, beef, vermicelli, vodka – by 0.5%, wheat flour bread of various varieties, cookies, chocolate candies – by 0.4%, semi-smoked and smoked cooked sausages, frozen fish, rye bread, rice, black tea – by 0.3%, lamb, sausages, salt – by 0.2%, cooked sausage, lunches in a canteen, cafe, snack bar (except for canteen at the company) - by 0.1%.
