With the cooperative processing approximately 3 million liters daily, shipments are 0.5% lower compared to the same period last year. This stands in contrast to February's growth rate of 5.6%.
The recent heatwave and delayed pregnancies in cows have contributed to this decline.
However, with favorable forage conditions and ample farm reserves, production rates are expected to bounce back in the coming weeks during the major autumn calving season.
Meanwhile, Conaprole paid an average price of $17.26 (US$ 0.41) per liter in February based on specific solid content metrics.
