Mexican Government to Invest 13.5 Billion Pesos in Dairy Plants by 2025
The Mexican government has announced a significant investment of 13,598 million pesos to develop dairy infrastructure, aiming to transform the industry by 2030. The investment will be directed towards establishing a milk drying plant in Michoacán and a pasteurization plant in Campeche.

Furthermore, 30 new milk collection centers will be established. Currently, the state company captures 642 million liters of milk, and by 2030, it plans to increase this figure to 1.3 billion liters, benefiting small and medium-sized producers.

This initiative is part of a broader strategy to enhance dairy coverage across Mexico, eventually covering 88% of municipalities and aiming to reach 100% by the end of the presidential term. The government also intends to support 5,000 producers by 2030, ensuring a more inclusive industry where 20% of these producers are women, aiming to supply milk at accessible prices to families nationwide.
