Krasnodar region supplies ice cream, cheeses and condensed milk to 26 countries - Veniamin Kondratiev
‘Our agricultural products are in demand all over the world. We supply wine to more than 20 countries, dairy products - condensed milk, ice cream and cheeses - to 26 countries, fat-and-oil products - to 34. Kuban vegetable oil is popular in stores in Germany, Switzerland and the Netherlands. As a result, since the beginning of 2021, the volume of exports of agriculture and processing amounted to almost 3.2 billion dollars in actual prices,’ Veniamin Kondratiev said.
Deputy Head of the region, who oversees the agro-industrial complex, Andrey Korobka, said that the region began to export more finished products. Today it accounts for about a quarter of the total volume of agricultural exports.
‘Even despite the new export calculation methodology established by the Ministry of Agriculture of Russia within the framework of the national project "International Cooperation and Export", we see progress. The most popular Kuban products from the category of finished goods are vegetable oils, wine, dairy products, confectionery,’ said Andrey Korobka.
The Governor noted that next year special attention should be paid to increasing exports in promising directions for the region. These are mechanical engineering, metallurgy, IT technologies, medical and tourist services.
