Igor Eliseenko will perform at the XII Dairy Olympics
The expert will take part in the Forum of Regions, which traditionally concludes the Summer Dairy Summit and will talk about the development of the Siberian dairy market.
‘Novosibirsk region is the center of Siberian Federal District and it is a cross-section of the situation in the dairy industry in the region. We produce between 1,500 and 2,500 tons of milk per day and less than half of the milk is processed in the region. This is not right. I perceive Novosibirsk region as a dairy region. It is slightly smaller than Belarus. The terrain and conditions are roughly comparable, and our forage crops are growing very well. However, the size of milk production does not converge. I think we have a lot to grow,’ believes Igor Eliseenko.
