EkoNiva: the volume of investments in the cheese factory in Voronezh region is 1 billion 117 million rubles
The company added that the new enterprise is located next to the EkoNiva dairy plant, which has been successfully operating since 2016. Trial production of cheese at the new site began on January 17, 2021.
‘The construction of the plant began with the design and numerous consultations with specialists and professionals of the industry. Rosselkhozbank has launched stable financing of the project in the village of Shchuchye since May 2020. Then the active phase of construction began,’ said in the holding.
According to the company, the total production of cheese at the new plant is 6 tons per day. It is made from 60 tons of processed milk. It is planned to produce 4 tons of semi-hard cheeses and 2 tons of hard cheeses daily. The cheese factory will reach its full design capacity in the spring of 2021. It is planned to carry out production only under its own trademark "EkoNiva".
‘Our primary task is to produce the highest quality cheese for the residents of Russia! Types: milled curd, processed cheese and hard cheese. Semi-hard cheeses according to the author's recipes will be the first on the shelves of stores this spring. In the future we plan to develop a line of hard cheeses such as "Bergkase",’ told in the company.
Representatives of the holding added that they select milk suitable for the production of cheese according to 29 quality parameters and produce it on their own farms located near the factories.
‘In December this year, the largest milk processing and cheese production plant in Russia was launched in Maslyanino: 1150 tons / day of processing and 100 tons / day of cheese. The Maslyanino plant will be put into operation in stages: first, the production of dairy products will start, then – production of cheeses,’ reported in the press service of EkoNiva.
