Dmitry Dolgov: the share of DeLaval robots in Russia and in the world is about 35%

According to Dmitry Dolgov, regional representative of DeLaval for the North-West region, more than 60,000 milking robots have been installed in the world today, 24,000 of them are DeLaval robots, while the total robot fleet in Russia is more than 800 units serving about 50,000 cattle. The expert told about this during a Round table of raw milk producers held today in Vologda within the framework of the forum "Vologda - the dairy capital of Russia", reports The  DairyNews.

‘More than 30% of the robot fleet of all manufacturers has been installed in Russia over the past 4 years, and in 13 years the company has sold more than 300 robots here. To date, we are seeing active growth in this direction in Russia, Germany, and North America (more than 700 units per year),’ Dmitry Dolgov shared the data.

The expert added that today the largest farm in the Russian Federation with DeLaval robots is "Vakino - 33 robots. More than 130 milking robot have been installed on 11 largest Russian farms.
