Dairy plant Losevo will resume work after a month of downtime

The sale of the herd, the search for high-quality raw materials and the organization of its supplies, the conclusion of contracts with new partners, the reduction of the assortment, the settlement of financial issues and the search for new contractors - this is the list of problems and tasks the company is facing now.

‘The quality of the product is a priority for us, so it was decided to suspend work to develop new algorithms. We still have a lot of work to do, but a lot has already been done. Building processes that have been working smoothly for many years, almost from scratch, is not an easy task, problems cannot be avoided,’ note in the press service of Losevo.

Experts warn that due to prolonged downtime, the brand may lose its position in the market. Marina Petrova, General Director of Petrova 5 Consulting, notes that if Losevo wants to start contract production, this process may take from six months to a year, as it requires approval of recipes, volumes, packaging printing for the product line. This will entail financial costs, but the main thing is that marginality is significantly lower in this business model.

Meanwhile, on the brand's social media pages buyers are asking to introduce some economy products into the sales line, because prices are inflated.

In October, the bankruptcy proceedings of LLC Agricultural enterprise Losevo were terminated. However, according to the system Contour.Focus, one of the suppliers of the company, LLC Alta Genetics Russia, on October 22, published an intention to go to court with a demand to recognize LLC Agricultural enterprise Losevo as bankrupt. Earlier, the court granted the company's claim against LLC Agricultural enterprise Losevo for debt collection in the amount of 577 thousand rubles.
