The recall is due to the product containing an over-fortification of Vitamins A and D, posing potential health risks if consumed. Consumers are advised not to consume, serve, sell, or distribute the affected products.

The recall applies to two-litre cartons with the UPC 0 68200 14854 0 and a best before date of June 22. These products have been distributed across Canada, and the CFIA urges individuals to check their purchases and dispose of or return any affected items.

In the event of illness from consuming the recalled product, the CFIA recommends contacting a healthcare provider. No illnesses have been reported to date related to this recall.

The CFIA is conducting a food safety investigation, which may result in further recalls if additional products are found to be affected by similar issues.
