By the end of 2021, Russia increased butter exports by 28%, from 3.63 thousand tons to 4.65 thousand tons. Such data are provided by the information system of Rosselkhoznadzor Argus, reported in the department's press service to The DairyNews.

Ukraine is among the main importers of these products. 3.05 thousand tons of butter was delivered there, which is 37% more than in 2020 (2.23 thousand tons).

In addition, butter was actively exported to Kazakhstan. The volume of deliveries to the country amounted to 771 tons, while in 2020 it was 31% lower (588 tons).

Azerbaijan also belongs to the main buyers of Russian butter, where 319 tons of products was shipped last year - almost 2 times more than a year earlier (161 tons).

It is worth noting that in January 2022, the export of these products continues to grow. As of January 21, since the beginning of the year, shipments abroad have increased by 44% compared to the same period in 2021 – from 112 to 161 tons.
