Butter is getting more expensive in most exporting countries – Agroexport
The price of butter of fat content 82.5% in Russia after the decline in the first weeks of the year by the 2nd decade of January returned to the level of a month ago (530-534 rubles/ kg). Butter of fat content 72.5% is getting cheaper (467-470 rubles/kg).
China's butter imports in 2021 increased by 13%, reaching 131 TMT.
The study also notes that cheese remains a key category in mutual trade between Russia and Belarus.
Cheese deliveries to Russia for 11 months of 2021 amounted to 301 TMT. In terms of dry matter (minus moisture), this category provides more than half of Russian imports of all dairy products.
The export of cheese from Belarus in November reached an absolute monthly record (27.5 TMT) during the Belarusian export.
Earlier, we reported that by the end of 2021, China increased imports of whey powder products by 24% - the total volume of imports amounted to 844 TMT. However, in the last 5 months, supplies have been steadily declining amid falling demand.
