Bankaool Renewed Financial Support for Chihuahua’s Dairy Sector at DIGAL 2026
Bankaool, a Chihuahua-based bank, presented its dairy-sector financing programme during the International Dairy Farmer’s Day, or DIGAL 2026, held in Delicias on September 24th. The institution said its lending was intended for producers in the state’s central-southern dairy basin, with facilities for modernisation, technical upgrades and working capital.
The bank’s portfolio includes operating loans for feed, forage grains and nutritional supplements. It also offers equipment loans for agricultural machinery, mechanised milking parlours, continuous cooling systems and pressurised irrigation technology.
The financing was presented as producers in Delicias, Meoqui and Saucillo face difficult operating conditions. The source identifies prolonged drought, higher pasture costs and delays in commercial payments among the issues affecting the profitability of livestock units in those areas.
Bankaool representatives said timely and flexible formal credit could help family-owned and medium-sized farms maintain their herds. They also linked access to financing with avoiding forced loss of capital and the early sale for slaughter of dairy cows with high genetic value.
The proposal combines digital banking tools with personalised field assistance. Producers can apply for and monitor agricultural credit while continuing their daily work on the farm, and repayment schedules can be aligned with milk-payment cycles and deliveries to pasteurisation plants or authorised collection centres.
The bank also described financing for clean technologies, including solar panels at dairy farms and circular-bioeconomy projects. Bankaool said its participation in DIGAL 2026 reaffirmed its support for Chihuahua’s agricultural sector and for the competitiveness and sustainability of the region’s dairy industry.
