All Things is placing its grass-fed butter range in 500 Whole Foods Market stores in the US this month. The products are salted, unsalted, and garlic-and-herb butter, with each variety priced at $5.99 across the formats offered.

The US launch follows an undisclosed investment from Spacestation Investments, which is based in the country. All Things described the investment as a “secondary transaction”. It follows the £3.6m ($4.2m at current rates) raised earlier this year in a funding round led by London-based The Equity Studio, with Access Industries and Active Partners also participating.

Chef Thomas Straker and entrepreneur Toby Hopkinson founded All Things in 2023. Hopkinson is the company’s chief executive. Since its launch, the business has expanded beyond butter into cottage cheese.

Hopkinson said the company had changed in scale over the previous 12 months as it grew in Britain, entered additional dairy categories and converted interest in the brand into retail demand. He said Spacestation’s experience with consumer brands involving products, creators and culture would be relevant as All Things established itself in the US.

In Britain, All Things sells through Tesco, Sainsbury’s, Morrisons and Waitrose, as well as the online retailer Ocado. The company said it was targeting revenue growth of about “5.5x year-on-year”, without providing current revenue figures.

All Things said it was aiming for more than 10,000 retail listings in Britain this year, 12 months after adding cottage cheese to its range. The company said the Whole Foods rollout put its founding butter product on shelves nationally in a second major market for the first time.
