Agrocomplex named after N.I. Tkachev will be ready to introduce labeling of dairy products by December 1

One of the largest agro-industrial companies in Russia, Agrocomplex named after N.I. Tkachev, is completing preparations for the third stage of digital labeling of dairy products, which will begin on December 1 and will affect goods with a shelf life of 40 days or less.

‘At the third stage, we are launching 24 lines. The volume of production per day is 350 thousand items. To date, 11 lines are operating in test mode constantly. We will launch 50% of the lines within a week. Both the first and the second stage of labeling were worked out with the integrator company - Trekmark. Basically, we label it in a typographic way, at the same time we will apply a small number of codes on our own. By December 1, our company will be fully ready,’ said Deputy General Director for Food Production at the Agrocomplex named after N.I. Tkachev Yuri Yeibozhenko at a meeting of the Federation Council Committee on Agrarian and Food Policy and Environmental Management with the Administration of Krasnodar region

Labeling of dairy products began on June 1, 2021 in the categories of cheeses and ice cream, since September 1 it became mandatory for goods with a shelf life of more than 40 days, on December 1, the requirements to label products with a shelf life of 40 days or less will come into force.
