Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro announced that Venezuela has become the third largest exporter of livestock genetics in Latin America, following Brazil and Colombia.

With a cattle herd of 14.5 million heads, Venezuela also produces 3.5 million liters of milk daily, according to the president.

He emphasized the importance of science in development during the 48th National Zebu Fair, noting that the country's cattle are now perfectly adapted to local conditions, featuring seven breeds.

"We are the third largest exporter in Latin America, with Brazil and Colombia ahead of us," Maduro stated, underscoring the nation's growing role in the livestock sector.
